Any advice is surely welcomed. To top it off it is a four wheel drive that gets great gas mileage. The Grand Cherokee's exterior looks are bold, but with enough finesse that nothing comes off as tacky. Each is designed to deliver outstanding sound quality from a wide range of music genres and file formats. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the car an overall 5 stars with every category earning a 5-star rating except for rollover, which earned 4 stars. Before 20 was plenty loud, now I only need about 16 to get the same volume.
The door speakers are being crossed and protected by not allowing the lower frequencies to pass through them. Great thanks, I had found conflicting information stating the amp was behind the glove box and then saw, perhaps your thread, saying it was integrated into the factory display. Most installers find a factory bolt and use that location for a ground. The back-up camera comes in only a few trims, so if you want this increasingly standard safety feature, you'll have to go with a fancier version of the car, which is disappointing. I shouldn't have to pay for a Limited to get proper off-road function - with all it's glitz and glamor, it just doesn't look right running off-road. Harman Kardon GreenEdge systems combine new environmentally friendly design with dramatic energy savings.
Would like my 2012 back. Greetings, I am still wondering why the installer went to the front speaker. Some reviews state the sound quality is beter then the factory amp, but to me it sounds about the same. Thanks to the Class-D technology, the amplifier is more efficient than an analogue amplifier and, as a result, only a small amount of heat is generated and additional cooling is not required. The Alpine system cut off is around 55-60 hertz cycles.
Standard in every Grand Cherokee is a 3-point center rear seatbelt, active head restraints, advanced multistage front airbags, driver inflatable knee-bolster airbags, supplemental side curtain and front seat-mounted airbags, and electronic stability control. It's stable even in high winds while on the highway, and having to make sudden turns to avoid obstacles does not cause it to sway or suddenly feel top heavy.
The only hint that this is a diesel is that it's slightly louder than comparable gas engines. I agree that the seats are firmer than they need to be. Mileage not what advertised but new, still is under 1000 miles , no where near what I got with my 2012. When the install was done I went to test it out but could barely hear the subs!! This is balanced by buttons and knobs that are chunky and easy to grab even with gloves on your hands. The Grand Cherokee offers lots of room with no chance of rear passengers being pressed for space, but no third row is available despite its impressive size.
I tried out the Snow mode, but even with a good 10 inches of snow covering unplowed roads, the Jeep was fine even in Auto. The base sound system features 6 speakers, while higher trims get the benefit of either 9 amplified speakers with a subwoofer or a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system with subwoofer. Made of the finest high-quality materials, rigorously tested and built with precision, the Harman Kardon sound system notonly sounds perfect, but also holds up to the demands of Jeep Grand Cherokee drivers. My week of primarily city driving in snowy, terrible conditions had this engine averaging 21.

You'll find plenty of info elsewhere on this blog when it comes to adding some kind of amp, including on how to get to the back of the display.
Couldn't be happier with my choice. It was plugged into the original stereo. The Jeep is quite, very comfortable and fun to drive. Go sit in a Cayenne or an X5. Also, the Jeep dealership experience is probably its weak point.
