Car surges forward when popping sound happens. . Most recently, the headlights would only work intermittently before becoming inoperable. Their product is below standard, and the way they treat their customer is disgraceful! The check engine light came on and nothing was wrong with it. At 125,000 mi the abs sensors turns on and off constantly.
Apparently it is the sensor that keeps having issues. The contact stated that while at a stop light, the brake pedal started to vibrate as the it was being depressed. Then, scan the system for any fault codes at all. While driving 50 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. A couple of months later the light was still on and the exhaust manifold cracked. Gascap was replaced by dealer but the indicator never went off. Repaired by dealer close to where she was stuck by replacing thermostat and waterpump.
The abs light is constantly going on and off and the brake pedal felt bumpy and non-responsive at times. The parts needed to repair the vehicle were not available at the local dealership. Would consider another one if something happened to ours. The failure mileage was not available. Just remember to take the relay off of the old one and replace it on the new one.
The warranty has covered every repair so far, just not been able to drive the car without worrying about another factory fault. The driver's side bulb was less than an ideal fit, but there were no problems with it going out. The failure mileage was 162,940. They are trying to pay for the cost of the equipment but I'd more likely expect to see a charge of around 50 bucks. If the codes were checked at an independent shop, they typically use aftermarket scanners that can be used on multiple car brands, and they are usually a few years behind on their software. First check all fuses to make sure they are good. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted.
Light goes on after driving awhile. The vehicle was not repaired. I have taken this car back to the same dealer who sold me the car for servicing oil change, repairs, ect. If you engine is starving for air it will run poorly as well. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired.
I have had this problem checked out 3 times,and they cannot find and problem,but there is something going on with the brake pedal, in it or surrounding it. Don't get a hard on against it as it is a good thing once you understand it. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. I am just a little annoyed paing so much and not having the problem solved. They've had my car now for 80 days and counting!! I am afraid to drive the car for fear that I will crash when it stalls.
That is the most expensive and least effective way to diagnose a problem unless you get real lucky and hit it on the first attempt. The engine light is back on after the stall today. Please put these to issues on the recall list so that auto owners will be safe on the road and California's air will not be polluted by the fumes. With all of the time 80 days and counting and attempts 12 now and money they've wasted trying to fix a car that the technician himself said is a lemon, they could have already done the right thing and gave the customer what they're entitled to ethically!!! The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The bulb was replaced numerous times, along with the wiring harness.
During another incident two days later on Jan. The dealership stated this was part of the fuel pump problem. I was told to look up a recall list where I found exterior lighting 05V066000 and I called. I am told that this is due to faulty abs sensors which Chrysler refuses to acknowledge. Chrysler knows they have a problem and it is going to take someone dying before this gets fixed.
